Dermaplaning Training Uk

Training time for this course is 9.30 am until approximately 5pm.

It’s a good balance of theory and practical on the day, a pre-study assessment and practical kit will have been posted to you before training for study along with a pre-course exam. When full payment has been made please request to join our support group on Facebook “dermaplaning uk”. This group has over 400 DermaplanePro trained technicians and it has lots of videos, tips and updates. Please read through all the posts and familiarise yourself with the treatment and feel free to ask any questions.

The way we train is to carry out a full demonstration for you in the morning. Then the afternoon we concentrate on theory and practical. You will work on each other, so please let us know if there is any reason you cannot be worked on. Later in the day there is a further full demonstration with our OilaPlane Balm to ensure you leave feeling fully competant in Dermaplaning and all the options and protocols you can offer your clients

The cost of this training including your kit is £495 plus vat. Training is available in various locations across Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. The full training location addresses are on the website too.

What does your training day cover?

• Safe handling of blades before, during and after treatment

• Safe disposal of used blades

• Proper sanitization of instruments used in dermaplaning

• Proper draping, client safety & comfort during the procedure

• Pre-treatment skin analysis and explanation of the procedure to the client

• The ability to follow the protocol for preparing the client’s skin prior to treatment

• Competency in performing the dermaplaning procedure on each other.

You will need to be qualified to at least a level 2 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent), or be qualified in semi permanent makeup or have a medical qualification to be insured for this treatment. We require proof of this qualification. Insurance companies that insure for this treatment under Skin Geek Dermaplaning and DermaplanePro UK are Hamilton Fraser, Cosmetic Insure, bci, Insync and Holistics. You are responsible for your own insurance, for disposing of your dermaplaning blades and the sterilisation of your tool.
