Acne is an unpleasant skin condition that hated by everyone in this world. It is so hated to the point that it makes every acne sufferers in desperate of seeking the methods to get rid of it for once and for all. The main problem is the ultimate acne solution that works on everyone does not exist in this world. You need to find out what works best for you and your skin type…on your own. The real cause of acne is still unknown, but you do not have to worry about it since most of the acne condition had been figured out by the expert. Once your doctor or dermatologist is managed to identify your acne condition, there will be a right treatment solution for you. This is why acne sufferers should seek medical professional’s opinion first before trying to do things on their own.
Although the true cause of acne is still unknown, but there are few things you can look to such as diet, hormones, genetics, stress and vitamin deficiency. There is no denying that there are many acne treatment options out there for acne sufferers, but the results tend to be different from person to person. It is mainly because each individual has different skin type, and acne severity level. If your acne condition is at mild level, pretty much any acne products will work on treating it. But if your acne condition is at moderate to severe level, the whole things can get complicated. For a starter, relying on over-the-counter medications or products is always recommended.
Treating acne with medicine is good, but this does not mean that you can neglect the most basic step of treating acne. Washing your face 2 times per day is probably an old-school method, but it is the most reliable way to maintain your skin health. It can make a difference on your skin. Washing helps to remove all the dirt, dust, and oil from blocking your skin pores. A skin pores blockage can lead to acne development given enough time. As for cleanser, it is recommended for you to get one that does not contain harsh chemicals such as alcohol. If you find your skin feels dry or tight after using the cleanser, you should stop using it as it is not suitable for your skin type. For optimal results, use warm water to splash those foams away once you are done.
Hate to say it, but finding the right treatment for you is hard, unless you get lucky with first trial. In general, it takes a lot of trial and error, and as well as an open mind to find a suitable treatment option for your skin. If you are not willingly to do trial and error, then visiting dermatologist is your remaining option, but you are going to pay for their services, and it is not cheap either. Also, do not let yourself tricked by those hypes or scam advertisements such as “treating acne within one day with Product A” types. It will never work. Treating acne is always a long process. You need a lot of patience, and dedication to pull this off.
Diet is also playing an important role on treating acne. There are so many unhealthy foods you need to avoid it at all cost. These foods such as junk food, fast food, alcohol, oily food, and dairy products can lead to acne breakouts if you are consuming them excessively. In order to balance this, you need to eat a lot of vegetable and fresh fruits. These healthy foods consumption will drastically improve your skin health and free your skin from acne development.
