Is Dermaplaning Painful?

Dermaplaning is a safe, simple and effective method of exfoliating the skin, removing dead cells from the epidermis, and also the fine vellus hairs (known as peach fuzz).

Dermaplaning removes all of the dead skin cells and facial hair, leaving the surface baby-smooth, glowing and clean. This means that makeup can be applied with far more ease and precision, and overall has a far better finish.

Q: Is dermaplaning painful?
A: We promise you – it doesn’t hurt at all! Many of our clients actually find it very relaxing.

Q: Will I have coarse, stubbly regrowth?
A: No, the vellus hair will grow back as it was before.

Q: Is there any special aftercare?
A: Once the treatment is complete, you are good to go! However, your skin will be sensitive to sunlight, so we apply an SPF moisturiser before you leave in order to protect your skin.
