Types Of Chemical Peel Treatments

Glycolic Acid Peel Treatments

Glycolic Acid is an alpha hydroxy acid used to improve the tone and texture of the skin. It also improves skin conditions such as actinic keratosis, keratosis pilaris, and seborrheic keratosis. Glycolic penetrates the skin easily and works on the epidermis, stimulating it to shed. This increases the skin’s ability to turn over helping to reduce fine lines, acne and scarring, and hyperpigmentation. We often use this peel to treat the signs of aging. Glycolic Acid Peels are suitable for all skin types and can be combined with Microdermabrasion to encourage cell turnover.

Salicylic Acid Peel Treatments

Salicylic Acid is a beta hydroxy acid that helps to reduce pore size, even out skin tone, and smooth the texture of the skin. We offer concentrations of 20% and 30% salicylic acid peels. Salicylic is often a key ingredient in acne products because it causes the epidermis to shed quickly helping to unclog pores, as well as to, decrease bacteria in the pores. Therefore, this peel is suitable for those with acneic and problematic skin types. This peel can also be combined with Microdermabrasion to enhance results.

Medspa1064 Signature Peel

Medspa1064 Signature Peel is a blended peel for intense skin rejuvenation. This advanced peel contains a blend of TCA (Trichloric Acid), azelaic acid, and salicylic acid. The Medspa1064 Signature Peel smoothes fine lines and wrinkles, reduces acne and acne scarring, and improves mild pigmentation. This peel is suitable for those who have rough texture, moderate wrinkles,active acne and acne scarring. Significant improvement will be seen after one peel!

Medspa1064 Lumination Peel

The Lumination Peel is a blended peel specifically designed for someone who has melasma, dark spots caused by the sun, fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, and wants to improve the overall texture of the skin. It starts with a layer of Tretinoin (Retin A), followed by a blend of Lactic Acid, Phytic Acid, and Azelaic Acid. This combination is specifically effective in reducing melasma (brown spots), while refining fine lines and uneven texture. Because the Lumination Peel uses weak acids in combination with potent non-acidic ingredients, it can be used to treat patients with dark complexions safely. A Lumination Peel can be repeated after 30 days to achieve more dramatic results in clients who have advanced sun damage or melasma.

Frequency Of Treatments
